Terms of Service

1. Who we are

StepHub ("StepHub", "we", "us") is operated by StepHub Inc.. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

2. The service

StepHub is a shared workspace for real estate agents and their clients to track transactions, milestones, documents, tasks, and messages. StepHub is a coordination tool. It is not a brokerage, law firm, lender, escrow agent, or party to any transaction, and nothing on StepHub is legal, financial, or tax advice.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

You retain ownership of the documents, messages, and other content you upload. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you and the collaborators you invite.

6. Client invitations

Agents are responsible for confirming that clients they invite have consented to share transaction information on StepHub, and for the accuracy of the property, milestone, and contact data they enter.

7. Fees

StepHub is currently free during beta. We may introduce paid plans in the future and will give notice before charging your account.

8. Termination

You may stop using StepHub at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk for other users. On termination we may retain minimal records as required by law.

9. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any transaction managed through StepHub will close successfully.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StepHub and StepHub Inc. are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the federal laws of Canada and the laws of the province or territory in which you reside. StepHub is headquartered in the Province of British Columbia, and its courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you in-app or by email before they take effect.
